Ever come across a website and wonder if this offer is what they make it out to be?
I have…more than once. Quite often actually.
I understand you probably receive multiply opportunities by so called “gurus” all the time, all filling you in on the “secrets” to success. No wonder you don’t know which direction to turn.
It’s ok if you are discouraged, irritated or confused but don’t let it stop you from growing your real estate investing business.

Several years ago I was in the same position you are…when suddenly I connected with an old friend who I whole heartedly trust and asked him… “What is it going to take to get a jumpstart on this business? I see everyone else doing it, why can’t I?”
This is when I felt like an IDIOT…
I finally started doing what all the successful real estate investors were doing…It’s simple; they all knew Private Lenders where essential for their real estate business growth.
They found private lenders, found the properties to secure them to, analyzed the deal to make sure it was a win-win scenario for everyone, proceeded with the necessary steps to protect the Private Lender and themselves, including using the proper documentation, and finally CASHED OUT.
So, that’s where I began. I created some credibility for myself, educated myself on the process, found lenders and began cashing my massive checks about every other month. The best part…if I can do it, YOU CAN TOO…
…even if you have never closed a single real estate transaction before today.
For several years we struggled.
In 1992, the same year as the news headlines were spinning out of control with comments on the current recession, I chose to believe everything that I read and fully participated in the economic mess the headlines were espousing.
I was a young man, just out of the military. I had a young wife and a brand new baby girl. The business I was a part owner of just FAILED.
I lost everything, our entire life's savings…
To recover I worked from 7:00 -- 4:00 at my first job. Drove across town and worked from 4:30 until 8:00 at my second job before rushing home to take Evelyn to her night job where she worked from 9:00 until 2:30am.
We did that every day.
It was a struggle to put food on the table, pay the rent, car payment and the hospital bills from having our daughter, Rachel. We couldn't afford day care and a lot of times we had to walk because we had no money for gas. And to be honest, it took years to recover from this emotional draining time.
But we did.
The point is I know what it is like out there. I have lived it, breathed it. After that experience we made a commitment to ourselves and each other that we will never struggle again. We will never live paycheck to paycheck again. Things didn't change until we made up our minds to make it happen.
Things changed and it did in a big way. If I can do it anyone can. All it takes is a simple choice.
I was exhausted from working my 13 hours a day, every day… so that is when I transitioned into the dot com industry. I worked my way up until I was a Project Manager at a Fortune 50 company. I thought it would solve all my money problems. Well, I have to say, it did solve my money problems but, unfortunately, I still wasn’t experiencing the lifestyle I had always desired. Corporate America is NOT what it is made out to be. I realized if I wanted to have the lifestyle I desired I would have to make a serious change…
That is when I discovered Real Estate Investing and more importantly Private Lenders…
Let me be blunt for a moment… Private Lenders are ANYONE with money… ok I can expand…;)
ANYONE with money… who is willing to lend their funds to you, the investor, with a predetermined set of conditions. Private lenders are looking for a higher rate of return on their money than what they could traditionally get elsewhere.
In other words, you can borrow money from any private individuals who are looking for a better rate of return than what they get from most conventional methods, secure this against the property you are investing in, and cashing out upon completion with that investment.

When it comes to finding private lenders you have many options…
One of the more obvious yet forgettable options and places to begin looking for Private Lenders is in your own backyard (literally!). Do you know your neighbors? You may be surprised at where you can find money and where a conversation will lead…
